One more spin around the sun and I refuse to stop.
Another year but I’m still here living as I want.
Might not be perfect or what I planned though that won’t make me frown.
Life does not move in straight lines whether you are prince or clown.

Thirty five revolutions have gone by far too fast.
Still feel like I must be twenty seeking my path.
Yet I am not and things have settled into a flow that suits me well.
That doesn’t mean I won’t grasp hold of what I want for fear I could fall.
