You are the brightest light to shine in the night.
Piercing the veil draped over my heart.
Shatter ice frozen upon my ragged form.
Welcome me back to this realm of living.
Your face sparkles in my mind’s eye.
Never will you be lost to me.

Chip away the rock that has come to form my skin.
Take these piece and make me whole again.
Fill this void that has been left to fester.
Your voice softens my otherwise violent nature.
Bring conclusion to this path of injustice.
Terminate all my affronts.

You bring warmth into my smile empty soul.
Tired of standing on the precipice of losing control.
Sick of radiation eating away at my will.
Exhausted until you brought an end to me feeling ill.
Venting toxin that I’ve held for too long.
