Hi my name is Simon and welcome to my little section of the internet dedicated to creative writing.
My writing takes on different forms from poems to stories. But first I’ll give some background about me. That is the purpose of this page after all.
I graduated from university with a BSc in Computing and then spent nearly the next decade, off and on, working in IT. To be exact I worked in support. It was a path I followed because I was good at it and I thought it would also offer a stable path upon which I could build a career. I never considered writing as an option, past it being a hobby that is. Even though I have been writing since I was 13.
However, I came to realise that I didn’t really have career possibilities and the work no longer held any great challenge for me, so after a bit of thinking I’ve decided to instead pursue my hobby more seriously and see where it takes me.
As for the stories I write, they are entirely non-fiction and tend to be centered around the fantasy and science-fiction genres. Where as, the poems tend to be related to life and the world.
Anyway I think that’s enough rabbiting on about me, so I’ll finish this section by saying that I hope you enjoy reading what I write as much as I enjoy writing it.
