Grand mega city one.
Hub of forced communion.
Towers that crack the sky.
The higher up you are the quicker you die.
Last refuge for our fallen race.
Every sight bears remnants of our disgrace.
With choking air beyond the bubble.
Life is a permanent unforgiving struggle.
Clasped in irons that bear a name.
Reminders of collective slavery and shame.
As corporations rule over this overpacked realm.
Pass the fields and you’ll soon be gone.
Crumbling technology kingdom.
Once meant to serve as our liberation.
Reality, its a massive prison.
Some choose the swifter end for conclusion.
In a city where brutality reigns the dimension.
Brandish pain and anger against fellow human.
Rotted shell of what was once a beacon.
No one is left to chant against the insanity.
Meek and mild, waiting for the final fade.
Only then will our collective debt be paid.
For happy endings are pure works of fiction.
Why we suffer this relentless affliction.
Few remain to cry and scream.
If only this hell was but a dream.
Not a truth, thats just the final dregs of hope.
Upon them those who remain will choke.
Trapped within the halls pf our demise.
So few you can no longer hear the cries.
Praying died long ago but some attempt to beg.
No deity here to offer a passage somewhere else.
And so we wait for our last breath.
With it will be ultimate death.
Species cast into the lost books of past.
Time in this reality went by in a flash.
