Political Flail

Regardless of party both sides continue to fail.
Screwing the electorate as they repeatedly flail.

Manipulation at the edges that never tackle the core.
Every word out an MP’s mouth is a self serving bore.
Dodging the question to deliver a party line.
Placations and platitudes to assure all is fine.
If that was true then why is struggle the norm for so many?
Continuing with actions that waste so many a penny.
Ballooning budgets followed by grotesque cuts.
Is there any of you capable of not fumbling like a klutz?

Both sides of the coin haven’t got a course of action.
Its as if your brain cells total a pathetic fraction.

Robbing the poor to bolster those with so much.
Pandering to the rich has become an enormous crutch.
Yet they cannot keep you in these seats you desire.
Betray us harshly and you face our voting ire.
Pity your class is crammed with fools, zealots and thieves.
We’re sick and tired of your cliched sleaze.
Repeating the brainlessness of all those who came before.
Just tweaking the formula hoping someday we won’t notice anymore.
