Simultaneous Tenses

Your voice is like silk and it’s all I can hear.
Makes me smile wide from ear to other ear.
A feeling deep down that makes my heart flutter.
Enough is the feeling that it threatens to make me stutter.
Yet nothing compares to the scent you exude.
Calming my nervous and leaving me renewed.
Humbled I feel to drink in such delight.
From head to toe you illuminate so bright.

Watching you sway is like viewing a dancer.
Makes me want to join but I can only prance here.
While you move like water with an effortless flow.
Sight to behold and one I refuse to forego.
As I yearn to touch your porcelain skin.
Concerned that doing so might result in you shattering.
Yet your reassurance is I am quite mistaken.
Such honesty I find immediately quells my fearful shaking.

Drink from your glory, those moments past and to come.
Bask in your vicinity like planets orbiting our sun.
Nothing is sweeter than you to my senses.
Wish you to exist simultaneously in all tenses.
