You Have It In You

Watching as the world goes by
One eye dwelling on the sky
As rain does fall and makes a splash
The pitter-patter of the crash
With no sun to brighten up
This day is grey and full of muck
But still the surface is so pretty
Just have to look past the nitty-gritty
Not that it should be so hard
All of us can be the bard
Writing tales from dawn til dusk
This is what life gave us
So do not waste what you know
Refine and improve to help you grow
Then forge your masterpiece or three
No need to limit your way to be
Just don’t let the failures drag you down
Every soul is worthy of the crown
