Home

Four walls and a roof.
All that I need in truth.
For warmth resides within this heart.
Beating hard it won’t grow dark.
I know its safety and it invites.
Forever this is worth the fights.
So call me dumb or call me weak.
Out of here I shall never retreat.
And if you wish to hear its name,
Understand it holds no fame.
Home is where I shall dwell.
Bring weapon or violence it won’t dispel,
Make best efforts to tear me from my little haven.
Instead all you will do is see…

Righteous is the space.
An area filled with grace.
Safety in this box.
So let me be inside this house,
This home I love so much.
