Upon the battlefield I soon will stand.
To rage in war like a berserker against a lamb.
Armed and ready;
Proud and tall, I stand to take on them all.
Axe blades bathed in blood yet I am ready.
Regardless of the slaughter my hands remain steady.
Continuing to push on;
Snarling I refuse to bow until the deed is done.
Outnumbered and feeling weary.
I accept fate as it sits clearly.
Smile across my mug.
Defiant as I roar for blood.
Struck down.
Took half with me.
Slashed deep.
My body failing severely.
I am done.
I know that.
Torn away like bone from fat.
Valkyrie delivered me!
Throw wide your arms and welcome me, Valhalla.
I die in battle, to cement my place forever.
And for eternity I’ll sit among the worthy.
For my time in mortal realms may be done,
But the forgotten I will not be counted among.
So I feast and drink plenty of ale.
Rejoice my for death was not a fail.
So…
Throw wide your arms and welcome me, Valhalla.
I died in battle, cemented my place forever.
And for eternity I’ll sit among the most worthy.
