Salvation Is Dead

Salvation is dead, now decry.
Take your enslavement and cast it aside.
To dwell in doldrums is to stunt your joy.
Bowing down to something greater isn’t for everybody.

For too many times exploitation has overtaken commitment.
Time to sever off the true culprit.
Bring an end to organised piety.
Centuries it’s controlled people living their way.

So do as you please so long as you don’t cause pain.
It is your life hence you get to decide its trajectory.
No condemnation for non-conforming.

We are all individuals on this rock.
Stop trying to twist others and con then into a flock.
We aren’t sheep to be herded under a banner.
Life is short enough without limiting happiness.

Re-
Establish for yourself.
Do not partake for someone else.
These days are yours.
Make of them what you wish.
But remember,
Everybody can co-exist.

Tear these pages and cast them aside.
Live by your rules, just don’t be a violent kind.
Tenets of sense spoken to ears.
Damnation has existed but inflicted too many tears.
