Paradise for the red, white and blue.
Regardless of country that won’t be you.
These are statements spouted by fools.
All vying for control with ever changing views.
Flavour of the month is all they abide.
Only commitment they have is to their own pride.
For command is a peak which they wish to conquer.
Doesn’t matter to them if they are bonkers.
Offer your hand if you want it to be bitten.
Nothing will be sacred to be overwritten.
Pensions, rights, rule of law.
All up for grabs if there’s more money to draw.
Fame is a disease that rots what it touches.
And those seeking the light most wish it were in their clutches.
Will do anything if they can have a moment in the sun.
Then will kill for more time when there’s done.
Do these sound like people who should be given a chance?
You tell me because I have my personal stance.
Hell is a community fashioned by many.
It’s called letting stupid run independently.
Do as they wish with no limits or review.
Just don’t be surprised when they take aim at you.
Civilian or not, all are fair fucking game.
Psychopaths have zero ounces of shame.
Guaranteed seat at the table is all that they crave.
Get in the way and you’ll be laid to rest in a shallow mass grave.
