Fighting for the future.
While they kill to believe.
Refusing to surrender.
As they steal but never grieve.

Opposite sides of a coin.
Rivals until oblivion.
Meandering around conflict.
Ignoring each dereliction.
For convenience is key.
Empathy is weakness.
Sordid way of thinking.
Reckoning in singing.
I know the end they’re bringing.

Laying waste to history.
Repeat every mistake.
Lusting for victory.
Regardless of everybody’s fate.

Devils in our midst.
They wouldn’t be missed.
If they faded out of view.
Removed from me and you.
Might bring about a new dawn.
Reset after what’s gone wrong.
Splitting off from sanity’s loop.
What destroys would be mute.
Allow for an untainted reboot.

Rail against this downward trend.
Enacted by those who cannot bend.
Old men dictating to the rest.
Virus’ in our midst.
We don’t wish to be death kissed!

Resist overlord execution.
Victories for we.
Servitude is not our solution.
We’re determined to be free.
