Don’t Surrender

Pulled a knife across your vein
That will not fix the pain
Now you lie in the ward
Feeling like a common fraud
But what you feel is a part of you
And truth be told you can get through
Though, the path you tried is a one way ticket
Cross that lie you cannot flip it
And while you think the world is better off
Know the price isn’t worth the cost
You get one shot and no repeats
At no point is it better to be obsolete
So ask for help and don’t feel ashamed
There is nothing wrong with whats in your veins
You just need some time and space
Maybe a way to change the pace
Not carry on down this road
Get crushed beneath the mental load
You’re not the first or the last
You can always beat the past
