Soul Mated

On the breeze I hear you call my name,
And everytime it brings back all my shame.

Why did I not listen like you told me too?
Why am I trapped when I’m without you?

Passion born in moments is paradise for the soul.
Cling to the seconds regardless of control,
Cause what matters most is to say I dared,
Not sit alone and wallow in being scared.
Do it too long and you will submit.
These are the words I found on a writ.

Out at sea is where I felt your touch,
Sometimes it could be a tad too much.

How is it I can’t change my thinking?
And how are you still not sick of my sinking?

Passion born in moments is paradise for the soul.
Cling to the seconds regardless of control,
Cause what matters most is to say I dared,
Not sit alone and wallow in being scared.
Do it too long and you will submit.
These are the words I found on a writ.

In the desert sands I saw you standing there,
It could not have been real but still I did stare.

Who am I to have a chance in hell?
Who did I save to be put under your spell?

Passion born in moments is paradise for the soul.
Cling to the seconds regardless of control,
Cause what matters most is to say I dared,
Not sit alone and wallow in being scared.
Do it too long and you will submit.
These are the words I found on a writ.

Flower fields is where I caught your scent,
All the while asking where it is you went.

When did I forget the time and place?
When will I get an end to my disgrace?

Passion born in moments is paradise for the soul.
Cling to the seconds regardless of control,
Cause what matters most is to say I dared,
Not sit alone and wallow in being scared.
Do it too long and you will submit.
These are the words I found on a writ.

My lack of taste is all that remains;
All the food I eat tastes like ash from out of drains.

Where is it that I have to go?
Where I feel I have to know?

Passion born in moments is paradise for the soul.
Cling to the seconds regardless of control,
Cause what matters most is to say I dared,
Not sit alone and wallow in being scared.
Do it too long and you will submit.
These are the words I found on a writ.
