The Seven

Anger is all we get from you.
Every word is violence that you spew.
Calm demeanour has never been here.
You strike the match, light the fuse and hit an explosive tier.

Lounge about is your way.
Sloth is what you do embody.
Can’t say that there’s a care at all;
The things you do stain your name from rise to fall.

Envious of what others possess.
It’s like a game of rigged chess.
At no point do you feel your enough.
Rather you want to accumulate everyone’s qualities and stuff.

Greed is what runs right through.
A desperate need to gather it for you.
No matter what you won’t ever quit.
Wealth and power our the pinnacles of life’s gambit.

Stuff your face ’til its a smear.
All this food is so severe.
A desperate habit to feed your gut;
One day soon your house door won’t even shut.

Achievements you can’t lay to bed.
Like to brag about how your ahead.
To you they all mean the world,
And all other feats must be damned to the underworld.

Then there’s lust which you do well.
Each new day you feel the swell.
Ravenous demand to claim all you meet.
Your hunger has only ever been the best treat.

Slinger

Gun on my hip with a fully loaded clip.
Couple at my back ready for a crack.
Outgunning me ain’t ever gonna be.
So prepare to not ever stare;
Otherwise I might make you care.

Slinger.
Death bringer.
Sinner.
Hell singer.

Knife in my boot like an old coot.
Give you a stab ’til you’re out on a slab.
Tussle with me if you don’t wish to see.
Know it’s true when talking to you.
Choices are nill make the blood spill.

Slinger.
Death bringer.
Sinner.
Hell singer.

Gun in my hand for the last stand.
Think you are quick then lets prove it.
Kills to your name don’t change the game.
For only the strong survive;
Hence why I’m still alive.

Slinger.
Death bringer.
Sinner.
Hell singer.

Blade to your throat on blood you will choke.
Might sound cruel to some but it’s how I’ve won.
Any last words before you are thirds?
Only one left on my feet;
Truth is I always like to cheat.

Slinger.
Death bringer.
Sinner.
Hell singer.

Those Who Came Before

I search for the hands of my makers.
For they were the only partakers;
Founders of the world we tread.
Cannot put that thought to bed.
For they must dwell out beyond the edge.
Reaching them is something to which I pledge.

Not a dream but a promise I make.
From this goal no one can shake;
For my resolve is absolute.
To give up now would just pollute,
All the fibres that comprise me.
With such a notion I can never agree.

So to the road I was called.
By the prospects of discovery I was enthralled.
Days are gone but flying by;
My state of mind is so high.
It seems like I could soar.
Reach on up to heaven’s door.

Before that I must complete this quest.
To fail it would leave me depressed,
And so I walk the world unknown.
I do so completely alone.
Save for those who I do meet.
Each one is a brand new treat,
Of generous folk and cheery creatures.
It is easy to recall all their features.
Yet still I have not found my prize.
Regardless I am confident it will arise.
And so it does a few winters on.
When I stumble into halls forgotten.
Sad to say our makers are no longer here.
They have since departed our little sphere.

You might think that is the end.
However, following them I do intend.
Doubtful that I will live to see.
But passing on this torch it may one day be,
A dream realised to full potential.
That will be quintessential.

Annals

Calm does follow on from a storm.
My reaction is that I feel forlorn.
Nature melded with my blood.
Perhaps I am just misunderstood.

Wary glances often cast my way.
It is the same every single day.
You would think I am crook.
From the way these people look.

However I have never stole a thing.
Not even that reckless woman’s ring.
The one found on that famous thief.
His crimes could never be called brief.

Apologies I have gone off on a tangent.
TIme I stop being mentally transient.
Get back to the point I planned to make.
Before there comes a new mistake.

So where was I, I don’t quite recall.
Oh that was it I was defending my all.
Judgement has been rendered unto me.
When truth was learned I was offered no apology.

From that day the sideways looks remained.
You would think that I had once reigned;
Been a tyrant over souls,
Made them trudge over hot coals.

But no such thing have I done.
I simply prefer to be under sun.
Frolicking in natures annals.
Away from all those wilting candles.

Nature Speaks

Ears split as the thunder rolls.
It’s frightening and taking its tolls.
Payment wanted up front in full.
This storm has a relentless pull.

Demand that everybody heeds the call.
If you don’t then you will fall.
There is no doubt because it is fact.
Relent now before you’re cracked,
By the bursts of lightning bolts.
Heart stopping value of volts.
Believe that you are prepared?
Then why do you look scared?

Reality is you aren’t so sure.
Just trying to act mature.
But terror cannot be dismissed.
For it shall always resist.

Mount an attack against your mind.
Warp all of the darkness it does find.
Speak truth without arrogance,
Or be denied your inheritance.
And become struck from lifes book.
No longer would you get to look;
Though when the clouds move on through,
Danger will have passed you.

So wait it out and hold your tongue.
When the all clear is sounded you may say you won.

Prisoner

It’s dark under the stairs.
No room to even split hairs.
So long since I’ve left this space.
Forgotten the look of my face.
My eyes acclimiatised to night.
What is it like to see bright?

Memories are difficult to see.
Will I ever be set free?
Past events point to no.
Suffering I wish would go.
But hope is something I won’t hold.
To me there is no such thing as gold.

Shrink beneath the blanket cover.
Cannot stop the amount I shudder.
Days are beyond lost to me.
No clue what year it could be.
Creaks confirm I’m not alone.
Sometimes I wish this was not my home.

Subjected to hate since I could crawl.
All events have made me feel small.
Happiness is but a word.
Not one I have ever heard.
Misery and fear are all I know.
But I keep it pressed down low.

Shouting often fills my ears.
It jabs the air just like spears.
Then out the blue I hear the lock.
It’s been so long that I’d forgot.
Still I aim to hide in this place.
Worried for who’s presence will grace.

Open door brings blinding light.
Never thought it would be so bright.
To my surprise there are no screams.
It’s like something out my dreams.
But still I cannot dare to hope.
Positivity will undoubtedly choke.

Voice assures they mean no harm.
Urging me to remain calm.
Ask my name and how I am.
I cannot help but think it a sham.
In the end they get me free.
I find that I have been saved, finally.

Three years and now I see,
Truth of all the things you did to me.
Made a person into a shell.
Forced me to live in hell.
But freedom has been achieved.
I have never felt so relieved.

Excerpt From Events

Chances remaining to me are too few.
I get why there is a demand I stay away from you.
Emotions are raw and I was the blade.
Came in like a butcher without an ounce of attention paid.
Struck the match and caused the burn.
No way I will deny that which I did turn.
So deliver your punishment unto me.
For I have been the monster scaring you constantly.
I know its coming but I can’t makes demands of you.
Whatever you decide is what I will do.

How much pain did you inflict on me?
And now you think I should follow that path willingly.
In your world that might be fair,
But from where I originate such things only bring despair.
Just give me time and a chance to heal.
Following that I might once again be able to feel,
Something that doesn’t bring me pain.
I’m not the sort to direct the flame.
You should’ve thought and not come swinging in.
That’s why my head is in a spin.

What he did should not stand.
That predator should be marked with a brand.
I do not care if she doesn’t feel the same.
Her life has and never will be part of some game.
He should’ve known that and acted right.
Spoke to her in a manner that was polite.
Yet instead he whirled like a hurricane.
Forcing her to wilt under all the strain.
From our position we know it to be true.
They need to end this relationship too.

All parties accounted for and sworn in.
Time to administer the review of everything.
No judgement here will be passed.
These are simply the accounts that have amassed.
Quiet please because there is plenty here,
And none of us want to be present until next year.
It’s an indication of how many layers exist.
No part of all that’s happened will be missed.
With that said we should continue.
Ready for the next statement on this issue.

Right Hand Of Ruin

Bow down to your eternally chosen master.
That way your ascent will be much faster.
And with a gauntleted fist across your heart,
You show how willing you are to start;
Execute the orders that are given.
It’s a command to dispatch the hidden.
Those who dwell in the dark.
They have been nothing but a shark;
Busily baying for the greatest kill.
Aim to slaughter your master still.
But will you walk on by?
For you know those ordered to die.
A bitter kind of disaster;
Will you take part in the chapter?
Bring about the pain you’re commanded to.
Or are these people too dear to you?
Thoughts are thick with doubt and worry.
They race about with such a flurry.
Hamper you and the name you’ve carved.
Makes you feel like you’ve been halved,
To the traitors you wish to speak.
So up the sewers pipes you do sneak.
Converse with them is what you do.
In response they reveal a coup.
You think them mad but they say listen.
So in silence you let them christen,
The plan they propose to change the world.
Sounds too good to not be unfurled.
Then they demand to know your side.
Another war against emotion and pride.
Not that a chance comes to be,
For your masters forces assault greedily.
Capture or kill every gathered soul.
Then your master reveals his real goal.
He knew you were wise but torn.
For that he swears you will feel scorn.
So orders you to slaughter the captured few.
Blood out of body does swiftly spew.
Screaming regret you are detained.
With shackles you are restrained.
Sick smile upon your masters face.
You would give anything to replace;
Trade with those who are no more.
A promise is spoken to settle the score.
Former master cackles but swears;
That you will be reduced to tears.
Smug look upon his face.
Time to rend it and replace.
It’s what avoice says in your ear.
It fills you with special fear.
You know it well but had hoped,
That it had long since eloped.
Truth is no and now you feel,
Your body engulfed by its zeal.
Breaking bonds you cause a shock;
Here lies true power without a lock.
Former master orders death.
But it is he who takes his last breath.
Tyranny has been brought to heel.
No more will you ever kneel.
Bathed in new purpose which speaks to you.
Universe is now under much needed review.

Vitae

Scritching and scratching.
This hobby of patching,
Up the holes torn in,
To absolutely everything.
Mark from the martyr.
They are a fire starter.
Twisted by their joy.
Believe the world to be a toy.
Smile carved from skin.
To them there’s no chagrin.
Juggled states of mind.
Murderous leading the blind,
To feed upon the carrion.
Quintessential vulgarian.
Type who believes in pain.
Only if it helps them gain,
A hold upon the masses;
They’d turn it all to ashes.
Sadistic kind of soul.
Disaster is their only goal.
Cause to them dying is a prize;
As long as you do it before their eyes.
Though humour has no place.
They brand it with disgrace.
Violence is but the key.
They’ll drive it unto anybody.
Anarchy from the vitae.
Wave your last goodbye.

Battleline

Raise the gates, for no longer shall I wait.
Prepare my horse, for I shall march to the source.
Battle hardened and prepared to fall, I will sound the war cry call.
Think me scared I think you thick; death will always come right quick.
Axe in hand sharp and ready, my hand will hold it strong and steady.
Paralyse enemies with fear; no chance to retreat from here.
Cut off from the world beyond; I refuse to break my forged bond.
Body drained but pushing through; adversaries are struggling too.
Clash has raged for a thousand days; the sky is filled with all the greys.
Polished steel with scars and scores; in this skirmish there are no laws.
Survival is whatever you might do, otherwise the reaper is coming for you.
Battered blades and dulled minds; feels like I am fighting off some binds.
Hampered movement I can’t cut loose; the thrill of war did secude.
Brought us here to wile away; everything feels like it did betray.
Carve a hole into our ribs; somebody has been telling fibs.
Set us up so we might fail; regardless I am determined to prevail.
And when I crawl back to home, I will make the culprit choke on bone.
For treachery is not our code, so for that they will be revealed a toad.
Pleasure I shall take in watching their end; how dare they ever call themself friend.
Killing blow comes in late; just as well that I did wait.
Still my balance cannot hold; for that my teacher would scold.
But they are gone from this realm; it is why I am adorned with their helm.
A gift offered before they parted, they were incredibly bighearted.
But that does not change my current state; a flash of defeat marks my fate.
I curse the braggard whoever they might be; wishing they are posioned before years reach three.
I will not see it or even know, but faith I put into that ending though.
